A rare set of bone china made in the Queen Anne shape and hand painted with the blue Iris pattern. It was the most iconic of the floral patterns produced by Shelley in the 1920s for the Queen Anne shape. Lovely hand enamelled blue irises, some open and some as buds on each panel, together with dainty sprays in orange and yellow, the rim lined with blue enamel. Marked with the green Shelley England factory stamp to base. Pattern # 11561. Extremely rare bone china lidded bowl for sauces with original square saucer, hand painted with brightly coloured enamels. Dish measures 21 cm across handles and 11 cm high including the lid  Square Saucer 16.3 cm Excellent condition, no staining or crazing, looks unused.
