Royal Albert Tranquility Tea Set

$ 94.97

Royal Albert China is synonymous with fine china tableware. Its origins date back to 1896 when Thomas Wild bought a factory in Stoke-on-Trent called Albert Works. After only one year of production a Royal Warrant was given, having produced a range of commemorative pieces for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. From 1920 the infamous Royal Albert floral style developed, taking inspiration from the English cottage garden. Evoking a sense of serenity and calmness, Royal Albert’s Tranquility pattern is a beautiful blend of colours and design. The pattern features grey scrolls, pink roses, and blue flowers set against a white bone china background. Produced between 1969 and 2001 it was one of the most popular designs made on the Gainsborough shape.  All pieces are first quality. 6 Person Tea Set in New Unused Condition. 1 Teapot – 2 1/4 pt 6 Cups – 3 1/2″ x 2 7/8″ 6 Saucers – 5 1/2″ 6 Side Plates – 6 1/4″ 1 Milk Jug – 1/2 pt 1 Sugar Bowl – 4 1/2″ Excellent condition.
