Minton Cockatrice Pair Egg Cups

This range of tea wares,  Cockatrice pattern # 4863, were first made in the late 1800s. The china is decorated by hand with enamel paints depicting an exotic bird & floral decoration in greens, pinks, reds, blues & browns on a white background. A rare find, a pair of egg cups. Egg cup – 6 cm high  Minton hallmark on the underside, dates to 1912. Excellent condition, fabulous colours, no damage or repair, age is over 100 years
