Aynsley china is known for it’s high-quality, strong, and brilliantly white bone china. It gained Royal patronages firstly from Queen Victoria, who gave the Royal seal of approval used in their factory mark, and latterly Queen Elizabeth. Today it is one of the most sought after antique china by collectors worldwide. This rare tea set was made circa 1910 at John Aynsley’s Portland works in Staffordshire for the quality china retailer Lawleys of Regent Street London.
