Green Dubarry Tea 4 Two

An extremely rare tea set for Two, made by Shelley China during the 1940s. Beautiful bone china made in the elegant Gainsborough shape and decorated with the green Dubarry pattern. Each piece has been beautifully hand painted by The Ladies at Shelley China with floral sprays and green bands, the rims and handles gilded with 24ct gold.   All pieces are marked with the green Shelley England factory stamp to base – Dubarry – pattern #13396. Tea for Two ….. 1 Teapot – 20 cm H – small chip to rim Milk Jug – 9 cm H x 13 cm lip to handle 1 Sugar Bowl – 9 cn x 13 cm diameter. 2 Tea cups – 6.5 cm x 10 cm diameter. 2 Saucers – 14.3 cm diameter. 2 Plates – 15.3 cm diameter. 1 Cake Plate – 26 cm handle to handle. Lovely condition, little if any signs of use.
