Game Birds Tea for Two

‘WETLEY CHINA’ is the trade name of Sampson Smith, manufacturer of fine china at Longton in Staffordshire. c.1846-1963. They produced beautiful hand decorated tea sets typical of the era, this set dates to 1925. The peony shape teacup, with batwing handle, is fully decorated with a solid green band, wild game birds and gilded bows and swags.
