Early Minton Tea Set

Early Minton Cuckoo pattern # 9652, made circa 1800. The china cup and saucer are both ornately decorated by hand with enamel paints depicting a cuckoo bird & floral decoration in greens, pinks, reds, blues & browns on a white background. The Tea set consists of a ….. Tea Cup with a V split handle – 5.2 cm high x 9.2 cm diameter Saucer – 14 cm diameter Minton’s puce pattern number on base of saucer and cup. Lovely condition, fabulous colours, age is over 200 years.
