Wonderful English Fine china from the Minton Factory, Stoke on Trent since 1793. Minton is regarded as the best of the English china factories and as such is very sought after by collectors. Chinoiserie tableware was first made at the factory in the late eighteenth century. The china is decorated by hand with enamel paints depicting an oriental floral decoration in greens, pinks, reds, blues & browns on a white background. Tea Cup – 5.8 cm x 9.2 cm Tea Dish – 14 cm Minton hallmark on the underside is the early stamp circa 1820s. Excellent condition, fabulous enamels, age is over 150 years. . )
